Trak-A-Thon 2024
One of the BFA’s primary goals is to help fund a variety of school initiatives, such as Teacher Appreciation, Arts at Lunch, Assemblies, and Author Visits. This past year, the BFA has provided over $40K to a variety of events and new assets, including new cheer uniforms and school signage. In addition, we have recognized a need for playground enhancements. We are planning to add an additional 12 swings as well as expand our basketball courts. The Trak-A-Thon fundraiser is one of the biggest events of the year that helps the BFA meet these goals.
The Trak-A-Thon race will held at Butterfield School on Friday, May 17th during school hours on the large field in back of the school. Students are encouraged to run or walk as many laps as possible over the course of 20 minutes. We are asking student’s family and friends to pledge money for each lap their student runs or to donate a lump sum to support their student and the school.
